Fisher Zucker Attorney Presents at the International Franchise Association’s 50th Annual Legal Symposium

Fisher Zucker attorney Max Staplin has been selected to present at the 50th Annual International Franchise Association (IFA) Legal Symposium on May 7-9, 2017, at the JW Marriott in Washington, D.C.  Max will be presenting on the topic of franchise system changes and has collaborated with Andraya Frith of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP to prepare an article on the topic.  The article, titled “Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes: Implementing System Changes, Upgrades and New Directions Under Existing Franchise Agreement,” will detail the challenges franchisors face in modifying their established systems.  Max will be speaking on two panels, moderated by Andraya, alongside Chris Dull, President & CEO of Global Franchise Group, LLC and Clint Ethers, President of FASTSIGNS of Lancaster and Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.  The panels will take place on Monday, May 8th from 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm and Tuesday, May 9th from 10:15 am to 11:30 am.

This year will be the second time Max has been selected to present at the symposium, having previously moderated the Basic Tracks: Disclosure panel at the 2015 IFA Legal Symposium.
