Fisher Zucker Attorneys Present at the International Franchise Association’s 49th Annual Legal Symposium

Fisher Zucker attorneys Joe Dunn and Dave Allsman will both be presenting at the International Franchise Association’s 49th Annual Legal Symposium on May 15-17, 2016 at the JW Marriott in Washington, D.C.  Joe, alongside Kirk Reilly of Gray Plant Mooty and Lynette McKee of McKeeCo Services, will be presenting on the importance of product and supplier uniformity across franchise systems. His session, “Why Can’t I Buy This Instead? The Issue of Unauthorized Products and Suppliers in Franchise Systems,” will take place on Monday, May 16 from 10:30 am to 11:45 am, and then again from 3:30 to 4:45.

Dave will be moderating the basic tracks intellectual property panel with speakers Grayson Brown of The Dwyer Group and Jared Miller of Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs. His session, “Basics Track: Franchisor’s Intellectual Property: Protecting Your Intangibles in 2016,” will provide both an introduction to intellectual property within the franchise model as well as a refresher and update on recent and relevant shifts in the field. It will be held on Tuesday, May 17 from 10:15 am to 11:30 am.
